Mamikonean Genealogy

Hamazasp Mamikonean III of Armenia [Parents] was born about 600. He died in 661. He married Rstouni.
Hamazasp III Mamikonean, marzpan of Armenia was lord of the Mamikoneans, son of Dawit.2' He was regarded as virtuous by everyone, but delicate, a reader and a scholar, not--like his patrimonial family--skilled and adept at military exercises.2 Also called Hamazasp III of Taron. He was born circa 600.3 He was the son of Dawith Mamikonean, nakharar in Taron.4,2 He married N. N. Rštouni, daughter of nakharar of Armenia T'eodoros Rštouni, before 640.4 He succeeded his father-in-law Theodor Rshtuni as governor of Armenia in 655.5 Presiding Prince of Armenia, for the Caliph between 655 and 657.6 "After T'eodoros the marzpan of Armenia was Hamazasp, for seven years."5 He was made Curopalate by the Emperor Constans who gave him a silver throne and authority over the land of Armenia in 657.2 Viceroy of Armenia in Byzantine Empire, Transcaucasia, between 657 and 658.6,7 He died in 661.
Rstouni [Parents] was born about 605. She married Hamazasp Mamikonean III of Armenia.
They had the following children:
 
M i Hrahat Mamikonean of Taraun.
 
M ii Artavazd Mamikonean was born about 655. He died after 693.
